What is the best tooth whitening product for sensitive teeth?

I have tried Crest Whitestrips and a professional kit from my dentist, both hurt my teeth, made me want to scream actually! Anybody else had this problem?

Weird question, but I have whitening tooth paste.. Do you think if I put in on my teeth and let it sit for like 10 min or whatever that it would whiting my teeth better and faster than just brushing everyday? Crest whitening strips hurt my teeth!
