are their any teeth whitening systems out there that not stripping off the enamel?

i’ve heard that lots of times when people think they are whitening their teeth they are also stripping off their enamel. are their any teeth whitening systems out there that dont do that? (ex. do crest whitestrips do that to your teeth?)
